The Revenue Audit Supervisor is responsible for the daily audit process of gaming and non-gaming revenue, ensuring the accuracy of reported revenues.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Monitors department standards, guidelines, and objectives to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of department.
  • Employs revenue audit checklists to properly address internal control and compliance requirements.
  • Ensures that all daily revenue audit checklist steps have been completed and revenue properly recorded.
  • Prepares, audits, and distributes reports timely.
  • Responsible for morale of department through quality of supervision and training and provides training for all department personnel to ensure extraordinary guest service standards are met.
  • Assist the Revenue Audit Manager in coordinating with gaming regulators for company and audits and other regulatory issues.
  • Monitors and maintains gaming related management and accounting systems to ensure that systems are consistent with accounting and gaming requirements. Involvement in various other projects as assigned.
  • Provides recommendations to management on issues pertaining to gaming audit, accounting, and regulations to provide informational and analytical support for management decision-making.
  • Keeps abreast of federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and protected from liabilities.
  • Performs special audits, as directed by the Revenue Audit Manager, to provide high level of expertise on matters of a complex or sensitive nature.
  • Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Assists the Revenue Audit Manager to ensure effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Three (3) years of related work experience with (2) years in a senior or supervisory capacity with experience in a hotel/casino preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with planning and project management.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and to establish rapport with senior executives.
  • Must possess a strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected

    WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

    Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.

    WarHorse Gaming is a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., the award-winning economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. WarHorse Gaming operates the WarHorse Casino in Lincoln (now open) as well as the WarHorse Casino, in Omaha. Both are in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). WarHorse Gaming will also operate WarHorse Casino in South Sioux City (opening TBD).

    WarHorse Sportsbook Omaha currently features simulcast racing, and in-person sports betting.

    WarHorse Omaha is excited to share our latest construction updates! Our high-end casino and simulcast facility is on track to open Summer 2024 at Horsemen’s Park, 6303 Q Street. The former Horsemen’s Park building has undergone major upgrades and will continue to develop after casino operations begin.

    In the new space, guests will enjoy 800 slots, 20 table games and a fully updated simulcast experience. A new restaurant and center bar will also be open, creating the perfect destination for date nights and group parties.
