Pechanga Development Corporation
The Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians established the Pechanga Development Corporation (PDC) in 1994. A branch of the Pechanga tribal government, PDC was created for the purpose of economic development and improving the business, financial and general welfare of the Pechanga Tribe. The PDC is led by a five-member board of directors that is elected to two-year terms by Pechanga citizens.
PDC’s first economic development venture was the Pechanga Entertainment Center, which opened in July 1995 with 135 employees. Known today as the Pechanga Resort & Casino, the operation has developed into the second largest private employer in Riverside County with more than 4,000 Team Members. In addition to the resort and casino, PDC also manages the Pechanga RV Park, the Pechanga Gas Station, and several land holdings throughout Southern California.
