Under the direction of the Supervisor, Reservation Asset Protection, the Reservation Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for monitoring the security and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) security systems of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation Reservation and any additional Tribal buildings, as assigned. This position serves the Tribe by continuously observing, reporting, recording, and documenting all unusual and suspicious occurrences or deviations that occur.The Reservation Asset Protection Specialist exhibits a Tribe First mentality and aligns themselves with the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribe’s vision, mission and values.
Under supervision from the Supervisor, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to emergency and non-emergency calls in and around the Casino and delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols, and company policies.
Under the direction and supervision of Office of the Tribal Council (OTC) staff leadership, the Tribal Operations Specialist provides high-level operational services and ensures efficient functioning of the department and various tribal citizen led bodies.This role is a skilled professional with exceptional oral and written communication skills and is responsible for the calendar management, communication development, and documentation management in assigned areas such as Tribal Council, department operations, constitution implementation, and various tribal citizen or committees, subcommittees, working groups, and other subordinate governmental bodies.
Under the direction of the Director, Construction & Development, the Senior Project Manager, Construction and Development is responsible for the overall planning, coordination and direction for construction management activities on projects to ensure they are on time, budget, schedule, cost, and project performance to ensure the requirements for the contract. Projects may include large scale tribal, casino, hotel, entertainment, retail, restaurant, parking or other mixed-use venues. Will include major and minor remodels, property and office renovations and new construction projects within and related to the casino facilities and hotel properties. Responsible for assisting in the planning and direction of the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction of construction projects.
Teachers play an essential role in creating the foundation of academic rigor and establishing culturally rich classrooms by upholding the school's mission, and values, aligned to the Tribe’s 2040 vision. Under the direction of the Assistant Principal, the STEAM teacher models, delivers, and crafts rich student-centered learning experiences around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.This role works with existing instructional staff to strengthen instruction in all core content areas and assists in the development of the school’s Makerspace, STEAM program goals, and objectives consistent with the vision, mission, and values of the school.
Reporting to the Assistant Principal, the Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher models and teaches skills in physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and individual, dual, or team sports to elementary students and youth in after school program to utilize courses of study adopted by the state of California. The P.E. Teacher plays an essential role in creating the foundation for physical and emotional well-being through physical activities.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Education Program Services, the Extended Day Program Specialist (Specialist) acts as the primary content instructor for students who need an extended day program that is tethered to a non-traditional school model. The Specialist serves as a case manager who monitors information through varying management systems, school websites and student portals. The Specialist needs a working content knowledge on varying subjects for primarily 6th-12th graders. Additionally, they act as intervention specialists who will be creating/co-creating content to assist students in closing academic gaps. As part of the Education Department, the Specialist strives to ensure the quality of overall educational services, programs, and initiatives provided to Tribal Citizens.
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Logistics, the Logistics Clerk is responsible for the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods needed for both Tribal and casino operations.
Under the direction of the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, the Vice President (VP), Legal Compliance, works in tandem with senior leaders to provide strategic direction and solution-oriented leadership in the development and execution of a coordinated ethics and risk-based legal compliance program. The VP is a principled and dynamic thought leader who propels the enterprise forward as a front-runner in the application and oversight of legal compliance standards.
Under the direction of the Manager, Information Security Operations, the Security Analyst I supports efforts to ensure that information assets are adequately protected and proper security controls are in place for all current and future IT and Information Security systems. Champions a security mindset to all enterprise team members and recognizes the value of standards, policy and procedures, operational effectiveness, and high availability. This role supports incident response activities and post-incident actions.
Reporting directly to the VP, Accounting and Reporting, the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting manages the accounting process and corresponding transactions necessary for the maintenance of proper books of accounts and reporting for the tribal enterprise and its related entities. Such accounting and reporting must be in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as it relates to government accounting (Government Accounting Standards Board or GASB). This position has a thorough understanding of accounting principles and application and must stay up –to date on new accounting pronouncements and maintain accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant financial accounting. This position is responsible for managing the financial reporting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely manner. The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting adheres to tight deadlines and ensures completion for a multitude of accounting activities including consolidation reporting, reconciliations, year-end audits, and grant audits in compliance with policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of internal financial controls.
Under the direction of the Director, Administrative Operations, the Project Manager - Office of the Tribal Council (OTC) is responsible for managing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives, governance projects, and department objectives. This position supports high-priority Tribal Council efforts such as Constitution implementation, policy implementation, governance documentation, and interdepartmental collaboration. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
1. Reviews and processes purchase orders and requisitions for goods and services. Processes all procurement transactions in compliance with established laws, ordinances, policies and ethical principles.2. Collaborates with internal departments to understand each department’s procurement needs and provide support. 3. Sources and evaluates suppliers, negotiates pricing, and monitor supplier performance4. Assist end users with the development of specifications to ensure product and service needs are well-defined and regularly used items are accurately and correctly maintained in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system catalogs. 5. Identifies and realizes cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities without compromising supply assurance or quality.6. Arranges and conducts job walks, pre-bid or proposal conferences, vendor demonstrations and/or interviews for products or services. Prepare bid summarizations and make recommendations to upper management.7. Resolves any issues or discrepancies related to procurement processes.8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Under the direction of the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Manager is responsible for the daily operations, ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services, including Food and Beverage categories, for the enterprise. Ensures that departmental performance and metrics are established to support all business initiatives. Enables effective stakeholder collaboration with other business units and vendors to achieve best in class procurement functions by supporting sourcing initiatives, leveraging procurement best practices and strategies to ensure effective implementation and execution. Champions the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribes vision, mission and values.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Senior People Partner will provide exceptional customer support to all levels of the enterprise workforce in support of the Tribe’s vision, mission, and values. Plays a critical role on the Human Resources (HR) team to drive performance that aligns with the enterprise’s human capital strategy and will serve in an operational lead capacity, providing guidance to the People Partners on employee life cycle matters, employee retention and engagement, organizational design and workforce planning, employee and labor relations, and core management issues. This role will work in harmony and collaboration with internal HR stakeholders and stakeholders throughout the enterprise to drive a best-in-class team member experience.Promotes a culture of accountability, lead others in adopting a coaching and development mindset while consistently role modeling behaviors that will reinforce the Enterprise’s brand as the premier employer of choice.
