As a Property Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact within the office, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that focuses on delivering high standards of property management and customer service.
What You Get to Do
Answering Phones and Office Reception: Greet visitors, manage the front desk, and respond to telephone inquiries, ensuring a welcoming environment for prospective and current tenants.
Scheduling Maintenance: Work with maintenance staff and tenants to schedule routine and emergency maintenance. Ensure requests are handled efficiently and promptly.
Cleaning and Preparation: Oversee cleaning of office spaces and vacant units. Make sure apartments are prepared for new tenants by coordinating cleaning, repairs, and upgrades.
Property Tours: Conduct tours for prospective tenants, showcasing the property and available units. Provide information about lease terms, amenities, and community rules.
Document Management: Collect and process rental applications, leases, Rent and other important documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards.
Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.

What Qualifies You
High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in office administration or property management is a plus.
Experience in an administrative or customer service role, with a preference for property management or real estate experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
