Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at the Boston Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Assistant Retail Manager at Boston Logan Airport, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business with management oversight for the day-to-day operations.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56800 - $76700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
- Supports management in overseeing retail stores, portable locations, warehouse operations, retail sales, and retail associates.
- Manage implementation of retail programs for stores to meet corporate standards and achieve inventory and revenue goals.
- Participate in product development.
- Provide support and direction to retail supervisors on implementation and company policies and procedures and ensure proper follow-through.
- Manage in-store merchandising and display to ensure maximum visual impact and revenue generation.
- Monitor in-stock position of approved merchandise programs and inventory control at store level to ensure procedural and policy compliance.
- Adhere to company directives on physical inventory and reporting.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years' retail operations management experience required.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to train and develop team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- No degree required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, walking.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
