Citizen Potawatomi Nation operates the Gaming Commission and the Boxing Commission to ensure compliance with the Nation’s gaming ordinance, the National Indian Gaming Commission’s minimum internal control standards, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Tribal-State gaming compact, and the internal control standards of the Nation.

The Citizen Potawatomi Boxing Commission is the regulatory authority for all sanctioned boxing and mixed martial arts events held on Tribal grounds. The commission is also responsible for securing independent judges and referees for each event.

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tax Commission is the regulatory authority for collecting sales tax from Tribal enterprises and vendors doing business on Tribal grounds.

Our gaming entities are:  Grand Casino Hotel & Resort and Fire Lake Casino and Hotel.

One of our most prominent developments is the new FireLake Casino and Hotel, which is rapidly advancing at the intersection of Gordon Cooper Drive and Hardesty Road. The new casino will be 49,000+ sq. ft. with more than 450 slot machines, a small kitchen and bar. The hotel will be three stories tall, more than 62,000 sq. ft. with 126 guest rooms.
