Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake

Upper Lake, CA

The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake is a federally recognized tribe of Pomo Indians in Lake County, California. The tribe's reservation, the Upper Lake Rancheria, is 119 acres large and located near the town of Upper Lake in northwestern California.

The Tribe began initiating the proceedings to develop a casino on its trust land by first negotiating a Tribal-State Compact with the state of California. On Memorial Day Weekend 2012, the Habematolel successfully opened Running Creek Casino, a full-service gaming destination in Upper Lake.

Since May 2012, Running Creek Casino has been offering visitors a full-service gaming destination in a vineyard setting along the historic Highway 20 corridor of Upper Lake, California. This beautiful location nestled in the scenic Clear Lake region offers a mecca for wine enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, fishermen, hikers, and watersports fanatics.

Featuring more than 200 of the hottest slot games, five table games, a player’s club booth, three dining experiences, two fun-filled bars, first-class banquet room facilities (temporarily unavailable), live entertainment, and weekly sporting event viewings on large screen TVs, Running Creek Casino is the “Place to Play” in Lake County!
