Description

Specific Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manages the flow of finished product from the kitchen to the guest
  • Assist in organizing order tickets and proper placement of food on food trays
  • Assist in delivering orders/running food to maintain prompt service to guests
  • Addresses food/beverage or service related guest issues and utilize creativity and resources available to maintain optimum satisfaction
  • Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in overall cleanliness
  • Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff
  • Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing
  • Support bussers/servers in their tasks as assigned
Standards Of Performance
  • Works on the floor 100% of the time with a “hands-on” mentality for guest service
  • Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all Team Members and the public
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and be customer-focused

Education, Tr AI Ning, And Experience
  • One to two years experience at a high volume restaurant
  • High school diploma required.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license

Derby City Gaming is located on Poplar Level Rd. in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the only licensed gaming facility in the state. The 85,000 square foot, $65 million-dollar facility features over 1,200 historical racing machines, with 70+ themes, on the 45,000 square foot gaming and entertainment floor. Food & beverage venues include Oliver's Chophouse, a classic steakhouse featuring the finest steaks and seafood, and the Bourbon bar which offers an extensive selection of bourbons and wines. Guests also enjoy two casual dining areas, which include classic diner-style comfort foods at Lil’ Wagner’s and Railbirds Hot Chicken Restaurant. 

The Center Sports Bar is a horse racing simulcast wagering area with seating for 50, where players watch all the big games on fourteen 85’’ TV's, enjoy live bands on stage, as well as craft beers and specialty cocktails.
