Compensación: $25/hr plus a $2,000 Hire on Bonus

SUMMARY: Work closely with the Human Resources division to accurately translate and interpret messages in real time between two or more persons, from English to Spanish and vice versa while applying sound HR practices. Convert text from one language to another while preserving the original meaning and tone. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your department’s guest service standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Work closely with various Human Resources disciplines, Gaming Commission, and other divisional leadership to convert written material from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning, format, and tone - Work closely with Human Resources, Gaming Commission, and other divisional leadership to translate employment communications, mediations, and investigations - Translate in-person as well as via telephone, walkie-talkies, email communications, web-based interviews, etc. - Interpret and translate audio recordings and messages - Develop and maintain department relationships to effectively assess current and future staffing needs and understand the requirements of each role - Document that candidates meet employment criteria, and coordinate job changes - Assist candidates with the pre-employment process, providing thorough instruction - Attend and provide translation services during employment interviews - Pre-screen and select internal / external candidates that most closely match specific department needs, extend contingent job offers and ensure selected candidates complete all pre-employment screenings - Help identify and utilize applicant recruiting resources including, print, internet, social media, high schools, colleges, community etc. - Assist with internal and external job fairs - Pursue opportunities to strengthen communications amongst the team KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and Certification Required: - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience - Degree or certificate in Human Resources or related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education - Demonstrable, real-time verbal and written fluency in both Spanish and English - 3 years high-volume customer service/guest service experience - Previous professional experience accurately translating English documents to Spanish - Previous professional experience interpreting Spanish to English and English to Spanish - 2 years office administration experience Preferred: - Translator certification Skills Required: - Written and verbal fluency in both English and Spanish - Accurate and detail-oriented - Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities - Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) Windows - Strong project management skills - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills - Excellent problem solving skills - Strong typing skills - Strong conflict resolution skills Abilities Required: - Ability to work fast and efficiently completing multiple tasks simultaneously in a professional manner - Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene - Ability to work independently, with a group, and highly directed at times - Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner - Ability to maintain confidentiality - Ability to communicate with a variety of people - Ability to maintain a professional demeanor - Ability to manage projects in a timely and efficient manner - Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice - Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time
