Senior Manager, Casino Business Development

JOB SUMMARY: Collaborate with and maintain new and existing Casino partnerships. Oversee the growth of casino player program revenue. Represent NCLH as a brand ambassador in designated regional locations. Establish casino property partnerships using a variety of strategies and innovative methods.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and execute promotional programs; provide promotional materials to casino partners. Make recommendations to enhance our casino partners marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage budget within guidelines to include travel, Co-op, supplies, advertisement, and promotions; review total budget each month.
  • Coach and develop Casino team members to meet or exceed quality, service, and revenue objectives. Lead team through cold calling, trade shows and referrals.
  • Implement cruise offer initiatives to grow new and existing business, ensuring maximization of property participation.
  • Retain and manage business relationships for each casino partner and develop personalized approach to help maximize profits associated with casino events. 
  • Develop innovative ideas and strategies to actively participate in casino partner growth.
  • Review, analyze and verify that program margins are acceptable through gauging correct complimentary offers and reinvestment.
  • Ensure department KPI's related to bookings and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Manage on property certificate events, promotional offers, group cruises, and onboard amenities. Direct appropriate staffing and guest support for event drives.
  • Negotiate sales plans and group contracts. Support key and channel accounts, promotions, and events.
  • Analyze accounts' sales and marketing plans and Return on Investment (ROI); adjust when needed. Analysis to be completed following each initiative and discussed with casino management.
  • Attend cruise events, trade, and consumer shows, etc. as needed. Travel related position up to 70% of work time.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration preferrably

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7 years' experience in outside/inside sales, telemarketing, cold calling. Cruise experience preferred. 
  • Salesforce, or similar CRM experience preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Develop pipeline and lead generation through cold calling, trade shows and referrals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, rapport building, facilitation, team building, coaching and motivational skills are required. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, negotiating and communication skills to engage all levels within the organization and external customers.
  • Proven team management experience preferred.
