Job Overview:
The Steakhouse Back Waiter is responsible for clearing and re-setting tables. The Steakhouse Back Waiter also stocks side stations and assists with the service of food to guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes all side-work as directed by supervisor
- Keeps service stations stocked with needed supplies, including clean linen, silverware, china, glassware, ice, and condiments
- Keeps work area neat, clean and free of safety hazards
- Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provides proper and effective water service to all guests
- Pre-busses all tables, taking all used dishes to the dish room
- Effectively utilizes a 27” oval tray in the service of food, or the clearing of tables
- Replaces silverware, linen, and other service items as needed by guests
- Clears all tables after guests leave; Resets tables
- Assists food servers as needed, using specified serving procedures to ensure food items are delivered to guests in a timely manner
- Gets approval for and submits stock requisitions
- Ensures stock areas and service stations and corridors are kept in a clean and orderly fashion
- Sweeps and/or mops floors and prepares dirty linens and trash for pick up by EVS Department
- Notifies management of any malfunctioning equipment
- Assumes special projects as needed at the direction of the immediate supervisor
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older Must be able to lift and carry forty (40) pounds Must be able to respond to visual and audible cues Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats Must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and TIPS training Must successfully complete Serve Safe Sanitation training Willing to work odd and irregular hours Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES On-line applications are accepted at http://www.windcreekhospitality.com/Careers.
