The Marketing Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for the execution of marketing promotions, development of social media content, management of on-property signage & merchandising, internal communications, and booking local entertainment across both Derby City Gaming & Hotel and Derby City Gaming Downtown. This role ensures that all marketing initiatives are executed effectively, align with the overall brand strategy, and resonate with the target audience. The Marketing Operations Supervisor will split time between the two properties based on the needs and activities at each location.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Execute marketing promotions across both properties, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that all promotional materials and activities are ready and in place.
  • Create engaging social media content that aligns with brand guidelines and appeals to the target audience.
  • Manage the execution of on-property signage (including digital and 3D) and merchandising, ensuring they are visually appealing and brand-consistent.
  • Oversee the installation of promotional materials and ensure they are displayed according to guidelines.
  • Develop and distribute internal communications to keep staff informed about ongoing marketing activities and promotions.
  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Book and coordinate local entertainment for events and promotions at both properties.
  • Handle all logistical details related to entertainment, including contracts and scheduling.
  • Split time between Derby City Gaming & Hotel and Derby City Gaming Downtown based on the specific promotional and operational needs of each property.
  • Ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies and initiatives across both locations.
  • Track the effectiveness of executed promotions, social media content, and signage, providing feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in gathering data and compiling reports to evaluate the success of marketing activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest service
  • Excellent verbal/written communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of market developments, strategies, and practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or similar field
  • Two years of previous marketing or similar experience
  • Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
