Essential Duties And Responsibilities
include the following:
- Exercises supervisory control over supervisors, main bank, and cashier functions in all designated cage areas.
- Enforces all Company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with state and Federal regulations.
- Oversees preparation of daily bank deposit.
- Safeguards all of the Company's assets in their control.
- Approves and establishes guest credit.
- Observes and evaluates cage personnel.
- Issues memos as required.
- Prepares weekly schedules for cage personnel.
- Interacts with both internal and external guests.
- Observes and assists during shift change in all designated cage areas.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Cage Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/Or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four years related experience and/or training with at least 1 year of full time cage supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience,.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Casino is always heavy with cigarette smoke. The cages are frequently too cold or too hot, as climate control is set for comfort of customers. There is a lot of vibration when working in 3rd level cage. The casino is always very noisy. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
Other Skills And Abilities
Must be able to work with computers, scales, wrapping machines and jet sorts in a heavy smoke environment with shift schedules. Ability to work with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software. Ability to work well with large cash amounts.
Additional Duties/ Job Dimensions
Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally’s from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally’s Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods.
