The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is looking for a seasonal Maintenance Worker to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

What will you do?

  • Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains and repair leaks
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
  • Respond to safety concerns
  • Perform facility and equipment inspections
  • Repair and assemble equipment.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep maintenance room in neat condition

More about you

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility required
  • Knowledge in electrical and plumbing
  • Knowledge in kitchen appliance maintenance

Physical requirements

  • Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking 100% of the time
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
