The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time  Floor Supervisor at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage areas at Mardi Gras Casino. Leading the food and beverage team and maintaining high levels of customer service for guests will be a crucial part of your daily responsibilities.

What will you do?

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to guests visiting the property
  • Maintain quality control for all food and beverages served throughout all Food and Beverage outlets. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by promoting excellent service. 
  • Respond to customer concerns tactfully and professionally ensuring the guest receives the best experience.
  • Provide continuous training of staff, overseeing product preparation, presentation, and recipe accuracy.
  • Display leadership skills to direct, supervise, and motivate the food and beverage staff effectively and encourage the growth and development of team members.

More about you

  • No college degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment

Physical requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
