Delaware North Sportservice is hiring an Accounting Intern to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As an Accounting Intern, you will be a key member of the accounting team, supporting the daily operations.

Summer internship dates typically span 10-14 weeks between: May, 1st – end of September.  This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and make an impact in a global company.

What will you do?

  • Learn base accounting processes such as general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes 
  • Assist in processing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and refunds
  • Conduct analysis and research to resolve accounting problems 
  • Support senior and lead accountants in day-to-day accounting activities 
  • Complete Daily Sales Report (DSR)
  • Reconcile GL accounts

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of accounting and finance technologies 
  • Familiarity with several POS reporting systems
  • Development of Excel skills

More about you

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a current accounting student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
