The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a part-time Main Banker to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Main Banker, you will work under the direction of the Cage Manager to balance the vault and accurately count and balance all cashier moneybags returned to the vault.

Hours:

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Overnight hours 11 pm to 7:30 am

Shift differential pay from midnight to 6 am

$16.75 – $17.75 / hour

What will you do?

  • Ensures that all state, company, and departmental regulations and procedures are being followed at all times.
  • Verifies all moneybags and banks from the entire day.
  • Accurately counts vault funds and verifies vault daily.
  • Reconciles and cleans self-serve kiosks.
  • Balances all proceeds on the table at the end of the shift.
  • Delivers cash draws of money to the cage as needed.
  • Maintains an accurate cash balance and log with attention to detail and can multitask.
  • Prepares daily bank deposits.

More about you

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including routine data input and record keeping.
  • Must possess basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
  • Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and push the trolley cart over 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, and crouch.
  • Aspects of the job are physically demanding
