Well, What About The Team?
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting. Under the direction of the Director of Accounting, support coordination of monthly closing with Business input, in line with the Group’s closing timetable for financial reporting and related processes.
So, What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting coordination of the calculation, review and approval of periodic entries to journals.
- Proposing, consolidating and reviewing accounting entries.
- Reviewing costs at market, product and segment level.
- Reviewing and assessing accuracy and adequacy of accruals, provisions, deferrals and assets.
- Developing relationships and maintaining clear channels of communications with Business partners and internal customers to facilitate timely and accurate close.
- Managing queries related to financial accounting and standard reporting.
- Maintaining control environment within remit and implement improvements where applicable.
- Supporting documentation related to internal controls and control environment.
- Conducting quantitative analyses of Non-Gaming / Gaming operating data with the objective of evaluating results, identifying problem areas, maintaining quantitative controls, and recommending possible profit opportunities.
- Preparing documentation for external auditors.
- Leading staff accountants on a day-to-day basis.
And What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
- Qualified CPA license required
- Able tointerpret commercial structures, business drivers, and their impact on financial statements
- Understand business needs and motivations and their impact on financial statements and controls
- Possess effective skills leading a small team
- Demonstrate recruitment and management skills to ensure they are delivering in line with requirements
- Able to work flexibly in an ever-changing work environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Have ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
