Description

Specific Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provides on-the-floor supervision of housekeeping team, issues supplies and equipment, and plans work assignments for the shift.
  • Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
  • Models and coaches effective use of safety equipment and follows all safety and health procedures when using chemicals and equipment.
  • Inspects the work of Team Members for compliance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
  • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
  • Responds to housekeeping calls or ensures that calls will be responded to in a timely fashion.
  • Participates in the recruiting and selection process.
  • Observes and reports on facility/equipment conditions which require attention and/or repair.
  • Maintains high level of cleanliness for public areas of the property.
  • Trains new Team Members to explain policies, work procedures, and use/maintenance of equipment.
  • Advises Housekeeping Manager on supplies and new equipment purchases.
  • Attends staff meetings to discuss company policies and guest complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned
Standards Of Performance
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with internal departments.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule which includes days, nights and weekends.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among personnel.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, such as but not limited to: vacuums, floor machines, scrubbers, extractors, and high lifts.
  • Lift up to 30lbs
Education, Tr AI Ning, And Experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a commercial cleaning environment and/or cleaning of large public facility.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid gaming license. (Company will provide application)
