Compensation: $110,000 or DOE

General Position Summary: 

Is responsible for the overall operation of the Table Games department in compliance with Tribal/State compact regulations, Appendix A, Ordinances, Internal Controls, including department policies and procedures. Manages Table Games to ensure the department is operating efficiently, meeting budgetary goals and is providing Clearly Superior Customer Service. Coordinates with all other Department Managers, as necessary.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily management and supervision of the Table Games department
  • Evaluates all games reports, staff performance and operation procedures to ensure compliance with PME policies and Tribal-State Compact regulations
  • Evaluates performance of personnel and takes corrective action as necessary
  • Responsible for training in the areas of game protection, surveillance and gaming procedures
  • Responsible for the development of annual department budgets
  • Ensures the protection of company assets
  • Works diligently to coordinate, secure and negotiate service contracts, which best serve the needs of PME’s business endeavors
  • Works cooperatively with the Legal Department to ensure contract compliance
  • Reports to the Casino General Manager on day-to-day operations

Secondary Functions:

  • Works closely with all Department Managers to ensure coordination of activities, special events and promotions
  • Cooperates with TGC procedures and investigations when requested
  • Resolves customer complaints, disputes and assist in developing positive customer service
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

Specific Job Skills:

  • Ability to use personal computer and related software
  • Experienced in gaming operation and management
  • Knowledge in casino gaming, including rules, procedures and regulation of games, including game mix, protections and security
  • Experience in personnel management, hiring, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, training and staff development
  • Marketing and public relations experience
  • Leadership and team building experience
  • Strong supervisory skills, problem solving and negotiation skills

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: 

High school diploma or GED. A Bachelors degree in business preferred. Five (5) years experience in all areas of Table Games operations and management desired. Five (5) years supervisory/management experience required.

Job Conditions: 

Working conditions include working in an office setting and on the Casino floor. Hours may vary, including evening, weekends, holidays and some out-of-town travel. Position requires being on-call when not at work.

Physical Requirements: 

Manual and finger dexterity for operation of computers and other office equipment. Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. May be required to lift 25 lbs.
