The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Gray Wolf Inn and Suites in West Yellowstone, Montana. In this role, you will lead a housekeeping team in ensuring that the entire property is clean, sanitized, and ready for guests.

This is a full-time, year-round position. Furnished housing is included.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46,100 – $62,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Lead and manage a team of Housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies; order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that daily tasks and projects are completed
  • Monitor and controls expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle on property

More about you

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least three years of experience managing a team
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, andcleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • No degree required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a background check, including MVR and drug test required

Physical requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
