The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the planning, implementation and managing of all finance activities of Acoma Business Enterprises (ABE)/Acoma Business Holdings, LLC. (ABH) including but not limited to, business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The position directs and coordinates financial activities of the enterprises to obtain optimal accountability and return on investments and possesses a “big picture” perspective.
The CFO, a member of the Executive Management team, will direct financial affairs of the organization including procurement, investment of funds, prepares financial analyses of operations, including interim and year end financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of Acoma Business Board of Directors (ABB) and Executive Management. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the ABE/ABH policies and procedures. The CFO will ensure the casino's compliance with provisions of the State Compact, IGRA, NIGC, Tribal Ordinances, Gaming Agency regulations, cash transaction reporting, and IRS withholding & reporting requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Minimum seven years casino Accounting/Finance management and experience required.
- Minimum three years Indian Gaming Management experience preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting/Finance or related field required.
- Masters Degree in Business Management, Finance or related field preferred.
- Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Acoma Gaming License.
Background Investigation
This position is subject to a background check through the Acoma Gaming regulatory office. Selected individuals must successfully complete and pass all requirements to qualify for position.
Insurability
This positions requires to have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment motor vehicle check and must be insured through the company insurance carrier.
