Summary:
Responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction, administration and coordination of all activities within the Slot Operations division.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of division’s leadership staff.
Develop, implement, execute, and achieve long and short-term divisional business strategies.
Formulate and operate within annual marketing plan, operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectives.
Conduct ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitability and expenses of the division and take appropriate action by creating and implementing strategies and tactics to reduce cost and/or increase revenue.
- Develop and implement staffing plans that provide divisional leadership appropriate labor to meet guest service and operational expectations.
- Analyze slot machine performance and make appropriate decisions.
- Manage the costs of leased/participation product.
- Develop professional working relationships with outside vendors.
- Modify slot floor layout to provide for customer comfort and maximize revenues.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Slot Operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Slot Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration may offset years of management experience.
- Previous experience in Slot Performance or as a Slot Technician beneficial.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (all software components); AutoCad; Payroll.
- Knowledge of Player Development applications and slot systems, preferably Bally SDS and CMP.
- Highly developed presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
- The primary language spoken and written is English.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, financial reports, slot performance reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the internal business community.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
- Verify right to work in the United States.

- Frequently required to walk, stand or sit for long periods.

- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Conditions
The work environment is comprised of three primary areas; Office space, the slot shop, and the casino floor. The office area has moderate noise levels and is smoke free. The slot shop can at times have high levels of noise from power equipment and is smoke free. The casino environment has high noise levels, crowded and sometimes difficult walking conditions, and second hand smoke.
