The Surveillance Manager is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and security of the property operations. The Surveillance Manager leads a team of surveillance officers tasked with monitoring activities within the casino to detect and prevent any potential criminal behavior, including theft and cheating. By implementing and enforcing security protocols, the Surveillance Manager ensures that guests and staff are protected and that the casino operates within legal and regulatory guidelines. Their vigilance and expertise contribute significantly to creating a safe and secure environment, essential for the overall success and reputation of the casino.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interview, select, train, and develop team members through coaching and mentoring in accordance with the Expectation Guide. Foster an environment of open communication and address team members' concerns in a timely and fair manner. Conducts periodic team member performance appraisals in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ensures Team Members comply with the rules, regulations, and directives of the local gaming regulatory authority and established Wind Creek Hospitality internal controls and procedures.
- Enhance department effectiveness by managing team members' skills, resources, and schedules and eliminating excessive and unnecessary expenditures. Ensure projects and assignments are completed in a timely manner while maintaining service and product quality. As necessary, recommend changes in staffing or equipment.
- When appropriate, delegate responsibility and direct others in completing tasks or assignments. Provide advice and guidance based on information gathered, studied, analyzed, or reviewed. Follows through to ensure accountability.
- Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, company policies, and organizational objectives. Advise management on internal control and policy improvements to protect company assets.
- Observes, documents, records, and reports regulatory or procedural violations.
- Review comprehensive reports documenting findings and presenting evidence for potential apprehension or prosecution.
- Maintain an awareness of current regulations, controls, policies, and standards for adherence and compliance with requirements.
- Initiate and conduct investigations and to report any technical issues, suspicious behavior/activity, security and safety risks, any illegal activity, improprieties, and violations to the department management.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in casino cheating and security threats.
- Manage the surveillance department's budget and resources effectively.
- Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the Company’s self-exclusion program.
- Collaborates with the Security Department, the local gaming regulatory authority, and the local police department on investigations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED– required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field AND two (2) years of casino surveillance supervisory experience –required

OR Four (4) years’ experience in a casino surveillance management position– required

OR Three (3) years’ experience in a casino surveillance supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality– required
- Must have experience with sophisticated digital surveillance equipment and experience with casino surveillance report writing –required
- Must have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word and report writing
- Must possess ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions as well as delegate responsibilities
- Must maintain a record of dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn new task
- Must possess a high level of maturity with the ability to self-manage
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours, including night and weekend schedules, and hours are subject to change at any time with minimal notice
- Due to the dynamic nature of this position, job duties and responsibilities can change without notice
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license
- Must have (or be able to obtain) and maintain any appropriate regulatory licensing) in accordance with the local gaming regulatory authority’s requirements
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
