The Field Slot Technician is an exciting role where no two days are exactly the same.
Responsible for DGS owned slot machine and electronic table game maintenance, including but not limited to game preparation, installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cosmetic fixes, the Field Slot Technician is an important part of the team who also serves as the face of DGS on a daily basis on their route. You will also install software, become familiar with servers/networks, and drive our 26' Box truck for projects. So join our exponentially growing team and apply today!
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must maintain a valid Driver's license
- 3+ years of casino technician experience required
- Tech bench experience would be a plus
- Training in the repair of electrical and/or computer experience required
- Must be willing to travel for training
- Following training, must be willing to service North Dakota
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and be expected to work at least five days/nights per week and some weekend hours. A supervisor will prepare a work schedule for techs in advance. Please understand that we will have many occasions when installations and emergencies require additional hours beyond the standard work hours.
Specifically, this position is responsible for the following:
- Preparation and installation of all gaming equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, conversions, set options, and repair games in a field environment
- Maintain accurate inventory of all parts issued and used
- Properly document repairs and follow a preventive maintenance schedule
- Perform all tasks with little supervision
- Troubleshoot problems for customers and other on-site technicians
- Perform conversion projects
- Successfully interface with customers on installations and service activities.
- Educate customers and players on basic game functionality
- Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck and pass a Department of Transportation Physical examination and drug test.
