The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Bally’s Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, interactive gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.
With 10,600 employees, the Company’s casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800 hotel rooms. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (“Queen”), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally’s jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally’s portfolio. Bally’s will also become the successor of Queen’s significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role
The Gaming Operations Performance Manager will be responsible for providing support to the VP of Gaming Operations and the property Slots and Table Games teams improve performance and aid in reaching financial goals. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytics tools, reporting and project management that will align stakeholders and aid in execution of our key strategic objectives in Gaming Operations.
Responsibilities
- Works with existing analytics platforms to develop best practices and core company performance reports to evaluate gaming product and operational performance.
- Analyzes gaming product performance and provides recommendations to adjust and improve operating plan and strategies, including developing innovative-customer centric and AI focused nextgen KPIs.
- Partners with properties to analyze product performance and implement changes and improvements as appropriate.
- Evaluates the table game product at an enterprise level and proposes standardized product and operational best practices with respect to yielding, scheduling, labor management and product mix.
- Partners with IT and properties to continually improve existing reporting capabilities.
- Assists in strategic vendor meetings for gaming operations, including providing support materials and presentations to aid discussion.
- Participates, supports and coordinates large scale gaming floor project planning, including layout design within AutoCAD.
- Encourages a culture of collaboration and teamwork, promoting open communication and information sharing between the gaming division and other function areas of the enterprise.
- Ensures compliance with all company, state and federal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the strict adherence to Compliance policies, internal control procedures and the Casino's policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience within gaming, including slots and table games preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Professional software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Access, and Excel. AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management and Casino marketing systems.
- Practical knowledge in accumulating and integrating data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts.
- Proven experience in the use of computer systems including database systems, software, data retrieval methodologies and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
- Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
