The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

What will you do?

  • Handling large sums of money, processing Cash Advance transactions
  • Maintain an accurate count of banks assigned to you
  • Perform regular cash exchanges with Main Bankers, guests, and others
  • Issue and redeem chips: process chip fills and tray refills
  • Follow all Company and State policies and procedures

More about you

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Six months cash handling experience preferred: experience handling large amounts of money
  • Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to option a pari-mutuel license for the State of Florida
  • Fee required if no Pari-Mutuel license
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to Stand for 6-8 hours per shift
  • No restrictions to bending or lifting
