Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in a high-volume environment, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Follow established recipes and presentation specifications, as set by the executive chef or kitchen management.
- Cook food in quantities according to the menu and the number of people to be served.
- Monitor all aspects of food service in the assigned area to ensure quality, sanitary preparation, and presentation.
- Correctly work all stations in the outlet with flexibility to assess and rotate within those areas to assist the team in keeping up with business demands.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, handling and storing food in compliance with food safety requirements.
- Safely and efficiently operate various kitchen equipment.
- Manage time effectively to meet service, preparation, and cleaning expectations.
- Assist in the development of menu items and daily specials.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Assist in keeping freezers, walk-ins, and other storage areas in proper cleanliness and order; maintain proper rotation.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating activities to effect operational efficiency and economy.
- Assist in developing food lists and ensure sufficient items are ordered weekly.
- Assist in menu planning, taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
- Assist in ordering supplies and keeping records and accounts.
- Assist in training and developing staff on techniques, equipment, recipes, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Consult with the Executive Chef and/or Kitchen Manager on daily operations, recipes, staff, menu, preparation, and presentation of food.
- Inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- May be required to bake bread and pastries.
- Order supplies and keep records and accounts.
- Plan menu, taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
- Assist with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House
- Responsible for regulatory compliance in assigned areas of responsibility.

Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for Internal Control and Compact compliance regarding Casino Operations and ensure compliance with regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A culinary arts degree from an accredited school is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a high-volume line cooking or production cooking in a full-service dining establishment or food service establishment with an emphasis on specialty cuisine menu production is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Capable of following procedures and taking directions.
- Possesses the ability to read recipes, production lists, and other necessary paperwork, such as diagrams and logs, to perform necessary duties.
