Delaware North Travel is searching for Assistant Concession Managers to join our team at Austin Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 – $54,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Assist management in the daily operations of mulitiple concession locations.
  • Train, manage and lead team members, ensuring a high quality of service is delivered with a positive team member and guest experience.
  • Ensure strict adherence to federal, state and local regulations governing food safety, sanitation, alcohol, payroll, and employment policies and practices.
  • Oversee cash handling, assist in preparing sales and operational reports, assist in ordering and inventory management

More about you

  • At least one year of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry, preferably with prior concessions experience.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Exel and point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accomodate business levels.
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe Manager, Food Safety Handler, and TABC certifications.
