POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the slot technical team, ensuring optimal machine performance, analyzing revenue trends, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role focuses on maximizing profitability, coordinating machine moves and upgrades, and fostering a strong guest service culture.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead, manage and supervise the technical teams to include recruiting, training, planning, assigning and managing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and coaching employees.
  • Review and analyze electronic gaming device reports and adheres to federal cash reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Management and Slot Operation Manager regarding machine moves, configurations, game adjustments, and new game availability in order to consistently maximize the profitability of the slot floor.
  • Assist in planning and management/completion of slot moves, modifications, upgrades and system installations/upgrades with vendors, regulatory agencies  and support areas.
  • Implement and manage technical service, preventative maintenance schedules, and guest service standards for the Slot Department.
  • Assist in management of the budget to ensure the department runs efficiently to achieve established fiscal and performance goals.
  • Participate with Corporate Management and Slot Operations Manager in regular slot/video performance analyses to determine efficient machine mix and maximize profitability.
  • Manage the review of the slot product, ensuring integrity, and product reliability to include Variance Reports.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance procedures as required by Casino Control Commission and internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with machine vendors.
  • Protect company assets at all times by maintaining security protocols and monitoring operational integrity.
  • Effectively address and resolve guest concerns and requests.
  • Address and manage employee concerns or complaints, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Knowledgeable of all programs, policies and procedures affecting casino employees.
  • Effectively support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior guest service.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding company operations, financials, and employee matters at all times.
  • Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time to meet critical deadlines and business objectives.
  • Work with Corporate Management and General Manager to ensure slot machines are always superior in functionality and appearance and slot floor is competitive or premium to the local market.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a strong desire for career growth, with potential advancement to Slot Operations Manager.

 EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Minimum of two years of management experience, or equivalent job experience, required. 
  • Must have the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan, direct, audit, and accomplish goals. 
  • Must possess communication and computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. 
  • Must be able to meet firm deadlines with quick turnaround times and ensure key stakeholders are current on project statuses.
  • Willingness to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as required by business needs. 
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate clearly over the phone and in person.
  • Capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and reach as needed for machine maintenance.
  • Requires manual dexterity for computer and technical tasks.
  • Must be able to work in a casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, high noise levels, and dust.

Salary: $75,000 plus housing.
