The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time or part-time Van Driver to join our team at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting guests between various destinations on and off our property. Pay

$17.00 – $21.50 / hour

What will you do?

  • Transport guests and associates in a safe manner.
  • Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and reports any mechanical or safety problems to management.
  • Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping of passengers census.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
  • Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
  • Requires valid drivers license. 

More about you

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years’ driving experience, a clean driving record and a valid driver license
  • Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication

Physical requirements

  • Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
  • Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio
