The Morongo Band of Mission Indians Reservation is set at the foot of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, and spans more than 35,000 acres and overlooks the vistas of the Banning Pass. The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is dedicated to contributing to the wellbeing of its Tribal Members by promoting economic vitality by creating and growing business opportunities, preserving the Tribe’s reservation and culture, and protecting the Tribe’s sovereignty while working with local, county, state, and federal governments in order to build a better today and work for a better tomorrow in the pursuit of self-determination.

Morongo Band of Mission Indians employs a variety of support and professional personnel to assist in daily operations. Morongo Tribal Administration is comprised of Social Services, Fire Department, Public Safety, Morongo Tribal Police, TANF, Public Works, Education Services, and much more.

The Tribe is continually seeking to diversify its interests, both in and out of the gaming arena. In addition to its AAA Four Diamond Resort, the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, Morongo also runs the 36-pump Morongo Travel Center, local legend Hadley Fruit Orchards, Canyon Lanes Bowling Center and the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. Additionally, the Tribe has agreements with Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water, who operates a bottling plant on the Morongo Reservation. The tribe acquired Hadley Fruit Orchards' three retail stores including the company's mail order and franchise rights. The Morongo Gold Club at Tukwet Canyon offers 36 world-class holes, state of the art practice facilities, outstanding amenities along with personalized customer service.

Morongo has become the largest private sector employer in the Banning-Beaumont region and is a major contributor to the San Gorgonio Pass economy.

The Tribe (Tribal Government and MCRS) now employs more than 3,000 people, with more than two thirds of the Morongo workforce composed of residents from the San Gorgonio Pass.
