Under the supervision of selected department managers or the Recreation & Wellness Administrator, this position is responsible for participating in and adhering to the Summer Youth Internship guidelines as determined by the Summer Internship Program Guide. The objective plan is leadership development, tracking, and developmental opportunities and to create a match between the organization’s future needs.
Responsible for the success of one of the Sandia Resort and Casino food outlets. Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations on assigned shift by spending a minimum of 90% of their time on the floor interacting with guests on the floor and coaching employees. Ensures that the proper levels of service are provided based on forecasted needs and daily business volumes. Solicits guest’s feedback by direct interaction and comment cards to continually improve. Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for employees and guests always. Teaches, reinforces and leads employees by creating a positive and supportive environment. Enforces all regulatory internal controls, policies and procedures and utilizes progressive discipline as needed. Enforces all appearance and uniform guidelines.
Using audio and video equipment, observes and reports illegal and non-procedurally compliant violations of casino policies and procedures, NIGC, STGC Regulations and the New Mexico Gaming Compact.
Reports directly to the Pit Boss and is responsible for the operation of assigned tables during assigned shift and all personnel assigned to those tables. Responsible for adhering to the System of Internal Controls and federal cash reporting requirements. The Floor Supervisor has the ability to sign Request for Fill/Credit, Fill/Credit slips, table opener/closer, temporary opener/closer and federal cash reporting documents. The Floor Supervisor has access to the pit podium, pit area, table banks and cards and dice in play.
To provide an internship period of 2.5 years with primary focus on Tiwa Language acquisition, teaching skills and work-related experience. Upon completion of the 2.5 yr. internship it is required for each intern to complete a teaching term of at least 2.5 years. The objective is to officially certify each intern as a Tiwa Language Teacher. All Tiwa language teachers will provide language instruction services for children, youth and adults in the Pueblo of Sandia Language Program, Child Development Center, and in school- based settings. As the Language Program capabilities develop and the needs of the Sandia Pueblo Tiwa Language are identified, assigned duties and responsibilities will be adjusted by the program managers on community needs basis.
Under direct supervision of the Human Resources Director, supervises, administers and coordinates training activities for all Pueblo and Sandia entities. As a member of the management team, directly supports the strategic planning and budgeting processes for HR. Responsible for developing and coaching direct reports.
Oversees the Transportation Drivers and assists the Guest Service Coordinator with managing operational processes, procedures and issues. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that routes run on time and adequate transportation services are provided for guests and employees.
Under minimal supervision, responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of the Pueblo of Sandia Wastewater System. The position will provide direction and supervision of Operator In Training, Utility Operator 1 and Utility Operator 2 positions in the safe operations and maintenance of the Water/Wastewater infrastructure. The Lead Operator will assume responsibility for O&M in the absence of the Utility Operations Supervisor.
This position will supervise, plan, coordinate and direct the services and operations of the Pueblo of Sandia's water/wastewater treatment system. This position involves highly responsible and technical administrative and supervisory work. Work involves direct responsibility for the 24-hour operation and maintenance of two (2) water treatment systems and a wastewater treatment system to ensure customer needs are met while protecting public health and the environment.
Under general supervision is responsible for safe operation and maintenance of the Pueblo of Sandia Utility infrastructure. Operator 2 will perform duties in accordance with Pueblo and Department policies and procedures. Operator 2 shall perform assigned duties and follow directives from supervision in both water and wastewater operations.
Responsible for greeting casino and resort guests in a warm and friendly manner as their vehicle is accepted or returned to them after their visit. Safely Park and retrieve vehicles with standard stick (manual) or automatic transmissions.
Under general supervision, performs new construction, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on all existing plumbing systems in the Casino/Hotel/Amphitheatre complex.
Responsible for the accuracy, professional, and proficient manner in dealing a specific poker game according to the Company’s policies and procedures and in compliance with the Gaming Regulations.
