Founded in 1881 as the Ontario Jockey Club, Woodbine Entertainment continues to uphold the best-practices in integrity and safety we originally created. Approximately eighty per cent of Ontario’s pari-mutuel wagering is through our distribution network. We are very proud to be the engine which drives Ontario’s horse racing industry.

An Ontario corporation without share capital, Woodbine Entertainment operates a multi-dimensional entertainment business. Our goal is to maximize financial performance in order to achieve the highest quality of horse racing, dining and entertainment experiences for our visitors. With no shareholders, we are able to reinvest our cash flow (after taxes and debt repayment) into our winning lineup of products, facilities, restaurants, charities and other offerings.
