The Slot Analyst is responsible for analyzing and discussing slot performance, informing management decisions to improve property performance. Define and develop reports for periodic distribution based on business needs. Help to develop, maintain, and leverage data, reporting tools and other third-party data sources.

• Problem-solving skills that help explain data and information to develop creative and rational solutions 
• Have core analytical skills and strong critical thinking
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Professional software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI 
• Understanding of how slot games function to include play mechanics, and other attributes that distinguish game types
• Ability to read and understand manufacturer’s PAR sheets and the process of configuring slot games 
• Knowledge and experience with Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management and Casino marketing systems
• Practical knowledge in accumulating and integrating data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts
• Proven experience in the use of computer systems including database systems, software, data retrieval methodologies and quantitative analysis
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude
• The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and
• Must be 21 years of age
• Previous experience as a gaming and/or casino analyst
• Must read, write, and speak English

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Evaluate and monitor slot product revenue
• Evaluate and monitor participation fees
• Evaluate floor changes
• Provide recommendations for product mix, pricing, placement, conversions and purchases
• Produce performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, annual and as needed basis
• Identify trends and opportunities
• Maintain integrity of gaming data in Oasis and reporting databases
• Responsible for providing analysis and working with the leadership team in order to ensure they reach their financial goals
