Under the direction of the Soft Count Manager, the Supervisor will be accountable for the daily supervision of the Kiosk and Gaming Floor Drop and/or Count in accordance with all company and Tribal policies and procedures, enforcing department policies and procedures, overseeing the training of new employees, maintaining a positive work atmosphere, and other duties as assigned. Must have strong knowledge of all Drop and Count Procedures, and is responsible for the safe handling of the monetary assets of the company during the Drop/Count.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises staff to meet and exceed performance expectations by establishing and maintaining a positive work environment and effective employee relations
- Assists Manager in monitoring compliance of all policies and procedures regulating the Kiosk and Gaming Floor Drop and Count including Tribal, Federal, State requirements and Cash Handling procedures
- Maintains the drop and count room operations while working assigned shifts, in the manager’s absence, includes upload of DEG/SDS files to Revenue Audit
- Assists supervisor(s) with maintaining current game asset numbers in the drop box tracking system
- Makes recommendations in the training, evaluating, rewarding and applying of disciplinary or corrective counseling to staff
- Assists in implementing team member training programs for the department
- Maintains overall equipment procedures and maintenance including submitting maintenance work orders for repairs and modifications
- Assists manager in the administration of the supply level for the drop and count rooms
- Delegates assigned duties and observes staff performing normal job duties, offering positive and corrective feedback as needed
- Completes operational paperwork, confirming compliance with approved accounting procedures and prepares daily paperwork for Audit department
- Maintains a general awareness of gaming operation at all times and complies with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets
- Approves or denies PTO requests and prepares team members evaluations on a quarterly basis
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Associate’s Degree in Related field– required

OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required

OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department– required

OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– required
- One (1) year experience in a casino Count Room– required
- Must be knowledgeable of the procedural and control requirements of the Cash Operations Manual, Minimum Internal Control and Tribal Gaming Standards related to the drop and count of electronic gaming machines.
- Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise
- Must successfully pass a timed math skills test (with a 70% pass rate) – required
- Must demonstrate ability to operate currency and coin counters
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must demonstrate ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with no assistance
- Must be able to work in bent position for extended periods of time
- Must be able to push/pull large Drop Cages on wheels weighing 1,100 pounds
- Possess experience with accurately handling large monetary transactions and machinery affiliated with the process
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Willing to work various hours as needed, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
