Summary
The Casino Security Supervisor (Non-Armed) will assist the Casino Security Shift Manager with Security personnel, law enforcement agencies and local partners as requested. The Casino Security Supervisor will perform all duties in accordance with Security Department policies and procedures. They will establish proper deployment strategies, supervise their personnel and monitor the performance of personnel under their span of control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise Security and Dispatch Officers while ensuring they comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Proactively recognize and manage emergency situations.
- Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries.
- Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ethically lead the organization with methods and actions that fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify potential compliance risks and take necessary actions to eliminate or minimize them.
- Promote a culture of compliance within the organization and encourage an environment where employees are comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
- Train, engage, mentor and support personnel.
- Ability to physically engage with a person who is threatening others.
- Write detailed reports and provide court testimony when necessary.
- Respond calmly to crisis and stressful situations and make rational decisions when addressing guest and employee issues.
- Lead by example, employ the “Three Es” of guest service, and follow the R.I.C.H. core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Humility).
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Security Officers and Dispatch personnel in the Security Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws to include training employees, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, and addressing complaints and disciplinary problems.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree; three years casino security experience, tribal security experience, training experience, investigation experience, or law enforcement experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Internal applicants must be a current employee of the Cache Creek Casino Resort Security Department with three years’ experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with guests and other employees. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to evaluate facts, determine alternative solutions to problems, evaluate courses of action, and make solid decisions.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
