Overview

This position primary responsible is for the overall maintenance, repair, and installation of all HVACR systems throughout the cooperation. Secondary responsibilities include but aren't limited to the maintenance and repairs of plumbing, electrical, and structural systems. Provide competent HVACR technical services, as relate to the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of HVAC equipment. Assist management in developing a comprehensive HVACR preventative maintenance program that may be utilized throughout the company.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Six (6) months of previous work experience in Gaming, Hospitality or Customer Service industry preferred.
  • Minimal of two to three years of experience in position related to assigned duties required.
  • Technical school or formal apprenticeship is preferred and may be required based on needs of the operation.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
  • Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
  • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities

COMMUNICATION:

  • Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
  • Effectively communicates concerns and information to supervisor and listens to communication from
  • Effectively relates ideas for improvements to supervisor and management in accordance with chain of command.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

  • Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.

DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS
  • Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from leadmen / supervisors.
  • Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, or metal.
  • Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
  • Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
  • Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
  • Creates wooden forms for pouring concrete for drive, parking lots, foundation, floors, walkways etc..
  • Erects and dismantles scaffolding, operate man lifts.
  • Installs windows and doors, flooring, trims, etc.
  • Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.

  • Helps other trades as needed, or as required by the Engineering Manager.
  • Must be willing to be called in any time of day or night as required for efficient company operation.

BUSINESS GROWTH/DEVELOPMENT

  • May be required to prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports as required by the reporting senior.
  • Will be required to collect HVACR equipment data for CMMS.
  • Wil be required to ensure that HVACR data is up to date and current in the CMMS.
  • Will be required to input data into CMMS.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Read, write, speak and understand the English Read Company or departmental reports, newsletters, and documents.
  • Must be able to read and follow electrical schematics.
  • Must be able to read and follow refrigerant piping schematics.
  • Must be able to read construction documents as they relate to HVACR systems.
  • Perform assigned tasks under moderate to no supervision.
  • Must keep up with current best practices as they relate to the HVACR industry.
  • Must be able to utilize best practices as they relate to the HVACR industry.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Perform basic mathematical computations (add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.)
