Position Summary:
The Database/Social Media Coordinator works with the database manager to develop, design, execute, and analyze the database marketing programs including direct mail, e-mail, mobile apps, and SMS, along with developing and curating engaging content for Isleta Resort & Casino’s social media platforms.

- Manages database maintenance and direct mail operations to include internal and prospect list procurement.
- Analyzes the effectiveness of all marketing activities, creating and analyzing reports for tracking of business results and ensuring data integrity.
- Maintains list of management activities to include direct mail list requests, report requests, and query requests.
- Performs analysis on the customer database to appropriately segment and target various markets for promotional, direct mail, e-mail, and social media campaigns, and makes recommendations as needed.
- Attends events and produces live social media content.
- Analyzes player revenue trends, by using surveys and player frequency information.
- Stays informed on new or existing postal rules or regulations and their impact on operations and notifies management of any pertinent information.
- Schedules and oversees regular data hygiene procedures.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of each social media campaign comprehensively.
- Creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice, and proper grammar.
- Corresponds with vendors, agencies, and other departments as required to complete tasks and projects.
- Sets up direct marketing programs within all promotional systems.
- Assists the Sr. Director of Marketing as needed.
- Assists in marketing functions.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of report writing, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of internal controls as they relate to the marketing function and the team.
- Most possess strong negotiation skills.
- Must possess organizational and time management skills while paying close attention to detail such as spelling, numbers, and grammar.
- Skilled at video and photo editing, digital media formats, and HTML.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and understand optimal reach and frequency strategies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial and marketing analysis reports, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to develop, implement, and train on programs.
- Ability to make sound and accurate decisions.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent required.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and word required.
- 2 (two) years’ experience in database, telemarketing, e-mail campaigns, or related field, preferred.
- 2 (two) years’ casino gaming experience preferred.
OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is accepted.
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification:
- Must acquire and maintain a Gaming License through POIGRA.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
- Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
- Flexible work schedule, willingness to work any days/hours as needed.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in, both, a casino setting with possible exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level, and a high paced office setting. Possibility of working outdoors with exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, winds, rain, hail, and snow. Occasionally may be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
