Summary
Purpose of Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee the day to day operations of the warehouse, and to ensure that the warehouse meets the needs of Cache Creek Casino & Resort, and its many customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create and coordinate employee work schedules.
- Responsible for the development of new employees, as well as conducting training programs, or the scheduling of training programs for employees.
- Conduct weekly payroll, attendance, and other appropriate employee documents.
- Oversee the Warehouse Lead Clerk and Warehouse Clerk positions.
- Responsible for the ordering and replacement of warehouse stock.
- Assist during monthly inventory periods.
- Conduct employee evaluations.
- Responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures as set forth by management, supervisor will also be asked to provide feedback as it relates to the Warehousing department.
- Responsible for the product quality, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Responsible for conducting staff meetings with subordinates.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 11 employees in the Warehouse. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
One to three years related experience and/or training; Bachelor's degree (B.A.); or equivalent combination of experience and education. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be a team player with a strong knowledge and/or experience of food and beverage product.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, mathematical or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License. Candidate must have a valid California Drivers License. Candidate must be able to successfully pass Cache Creek training involving Serv Safe, Electric motorized jacks, and Electric/IC forklift.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Warehouse is moderately loud due to diesel truck engines, trailer units, cart traffic, fly fans, and indoor temperature control units.
