Summary
Assists with employee needs as it relates to Human Resource issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Completes employment verifications for outside companies inquiring previous or current employment.
- Posts, updates and maintains current job opportunities on external websites.
- Coordinates employment postings on social media platforms.
- Assists at in-person job fairs and coordinates virtual job fairs.
- Reviews employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, and other qualifications of applicants. Communicate to staff and candidates any action needed.
- Responsible for I-9 tracking and reporting.
- Maintain HRIS System for terminations, transfers and other employment changes and various data entry.
- Compiles and collects data for company reports such as terminations, turnover rates, wage and headcount reports.
- Generates reports and designs special reports as requested.
- Assists in maintaining job descriptions and edits job descriptions written by others.
- Provide information on job opportunities to potential applicants and current employees.
- Prepares and processes all new hire paperwork, and coordinates all activities relating to new hire processing procedures.
- Orders all office supplies.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two years experience working with MS Office.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
