Summary
The Senior Lead assists Soft Count upper management oversee operations, as well as oversee the Drop Count Leads and Drop Team Members during the count of table games and the drop and count of slot machines.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Slot machine drop count and Table Games count, which includes:
- o Distribute replacement bill stackers and drop boxes throughout casino.
- o Retrieve bill stackers from slot machines and place on collection cart.
- o Insert bill stackers and drop boxes into slot machines.
- o Count contents of drop boxes (table games) and bill stackers (slot machines).
- o Prepare paperwork for audit, and enter/transfer all information into the computer system.
- Investigate variances and errors.
- Assure that drop and count team members adhere to Internal Control Standards.
- Review and address Gaming Commission incident reports, violations and audit findings.
- Responsible for key control of access keys and slot cards.
- Train new employees.
- Address and resolve operational and staff issues.
- Communicate with management.
- Prepare schedules.
- Perform administrative duties:
- o Managing and ordering supplies.
- o Coordinating with EVS to maintain Soft Count Room clean.
- Write and present performance evaluations based on observations.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee Drop Count Leads and Drop Team Members. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Computer experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with 10-key calculators.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, suing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical trade school, or one-year related experience and/or training (casino experience a plus) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
