Summary
Directs warehousing activities providing customer satisfaction, business requirements and financial goals relating to shipping and receiving, inventory control, facility maintenance and staff management.
This job is a Safety Sensitive Position that will be subject to Drug & Alcohol Testing Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages the Assistant Warehouse Manager in the Warehouse Department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures timely shipping and receiving of casino goods.
- Implements and maintains effective systems and procedures to ensure inventory and cost controls.
- Develops and implements budget processes to meet financial goals.
- Directs warehouse operations to meet facility maintenance requirements, including safety, cleanliness and organization.
- Participates in planning personnel safety and asset protection activities.
- Manages and directs staff using positive leadership and supervision skills.
- Must lead by example and in accordance with our core values, mission and vision statements.
- Develops and provides reports and documentation relating to all warehouse operation functions.
- Schedules, plans and participates in meetings and training relating to warehouse operation and strategies.
- Develops and maintains policy and procedure for all mailroom functions, including inter-company mail, US incoming and outgoing mail and express and overnight mail services.
- Develops and maintains policy and procedure for employee uniform functions including distribution, receipt and inventory.
- Ensures adherence to all company safety policies, procedures and responsibilities concerning accident prevention.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma required; College degree; 10 years’ experience in warehouse/materials management with 5 years in a supervisory or management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
Computer Skills
Must have excellent PC skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required. Must have knowledge and ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, weight scale, pull carts and dollies with materials on board. Must have knowledge of safety training programs that reduce workplace accidents. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance. Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license (commercial driver’s license preferred) and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and secondary smoke. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
