Specific Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient overall operation of the drop and count room. To include developing, interviewing, hiring, and preparing evaluations for the Count Room Team. Manage processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries.
  • Develop and maintain Count Room procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for running money from both the gaming machines and the NRTs through the currency counter.
  • Records cash activity electronically for both the gaming machines and the NRTs. Supplies related paperwork to Revenue Audit Team.
  • Responsible for collecting cash drop boxes from gaming machines.
  • Responsible for collecting cash drop boxes from NRTs.
  • Obtain cash drop boxes from storage carts, open and empty un-audited money out of all boxes for counting.
  • Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.
  • Maintaining required documentation for count room, maintenance and repair logs for count machine(s), along with purchase orders and requisitions for count room equipment and supplies.
  • Responsible for reviewing count machine reports for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.

  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Ability to work in a close proximity environment with co-workers.
  • Ability to work at a very rapid pace.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the count room.
Education, Tr AI Ning, And Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in a gaming or related field preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

The Center Sports Bar is a horse racing simulcast wagering area with seating for 50, where players watch all the big games on fourteen 85’’ TV's, enjoy live bands on stage, as well as craft beers and specialty cocktails.
