Description
Operates Main Bank, Fill Bank, Marker Bank, and Player Services Support Bank as required /scheduled. Serves as central source of cash, cash equivalents for the company internal areas and prepares outside bank deposits.
Depending on experience, this position may have the opportunity to dual rate as the Assistant Manager at times.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains accuracy and security of assets assigned to the bank.
Provides Fill/Credit Services for TGs, JP payout and re-supply for slots, kiosks and slot booths.
Verifies and accepts drop funds from Soft Count. Prepares daily external bank deposits.
Serves as central consolidation point for funds and paperwork for imprest banks & booths.
Maintains assigned bank in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
Assists patron in credit application completion and marker issuance/payment.
Enrolls guests into casino tracking system.
Maintains accurate player tracking information.
Assists with all casino promotions and special events.
Completes all player services transactions including enrollment, redemptions, tracking, card creation, etc.
Provides support services to Box Office Supervisor by assisting guests with distribution of event tickets.
Issues redemptions to guests cashing in points.
Verifies contents and accepts responsibility of the bank.
Makes cash-buys utilizing the correct procedure.
Reports any system issues to the Manager.
Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
Greets and assists guests regarding services and information and provides superior guest service.
Assists frontline cashiers with requests from guests as to comps, promotions, research and adjustment of points, as well as assistance in Patron Management operations.
Works frontline as needed during high volume periods.
Breaks other banks when needed.
Maintains and conducts inventory of Encore Club supplies (card stock, ribbons, brochures BOCA Tickets, Gifts, etc. Maintains brochure racks. Upon direction of Shift Manager, brings up required supplies.
Runs, reviews and corrects Bad Zip, New Member, Promotional and other essential reports as directed by Shift Manager.
Ensures that current promotional, marketing collateral and Promo Book is current, updated and on hand. Updates “Daily Board” with that day’s events and promotions.
Handles the Double-Platinum Window and Ticket Sales during the shift. Assists Box Office on show days.
Assists with motorcoach manifests and greeting as directed by Shift Manager.
Maintains spirit of Hard Rock and keeps work station in neat, organized fashion.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
High School diploma general education (GED).
Previous casino cage, credit, or players club experience required.
Previous cash handling experience required.
Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
Must possess basic computer skills and knowledgeable with casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and timekeeping programs.
Data entry and typing skills preferred.
Ability to balance shift and cage.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
A Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position.
Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Must project a professional and positive image.
Must have a high level of energy
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.

Ability to function with minimum supervision and make effective decisions during the shift.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Training
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
