- Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.

- Assist in managing operations with an annual sales volume of over $2 million.
- Interpret and apply insights from budgets and P&L statements to drive financial performance.
- Your leadership ensures customers are serviced quickly, allowing them to get back on the road with minimal delay.
- Works in a fast-paced retail setting, you are responsible for driving sales growth through effective merchandise execution and by leading a team that is well-trained to offer world-class service.

- Manages store operations during your shift, ensuring operational excellence and that the store meets its sales targets through effective merchandise execution.
- Train and motivate your team, ensuring they possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional service, thereby fostering an environment of growth and learning.
- Oversee cash handling and inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Processes goods and services accurately by using the point of sale system; issues refund for returned merchandise.
- Be a strong representative for the travel center by responding to requests in a timely and appropriate manner and building client relationships.
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on store equipment.
- Cleans and disinfects restroom facilities including sinks, toilets and urinals, fill dispensers with soap, toilet paper and other items; clean mirrors, walls, light fixtures and windows; unclog drains and toilets.
- Clean and disinfect service islands and fuel pumps.
- Dispenses propane while observing all industry safety standards.
- Responsible for keeping the fueling area, fuel dispensers, and restrooms clean and well-maintained, promptly addressing spills and hazards to uphold safety standards.
- Performs regular safety inspections and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent hazards.
- Conducts fuel purchase transactions, cash handling, card payments with precision, and issuing receipts.
- Manages the inventory of maintenance supplies, keeping track of stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Punctually addresses and resolves emergency maintenance issues to minimize impact on store operations.
- Responsible for all necessary record keeping.
- Demonstrates flexibility by working a schedule that includes some nights, weekends, or holidays to meet the store’s needs.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Monitor team member performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
- Maintain excellent communications with all Directors and Supervisors.
- Implements approved departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure the budget for the department is monitored and adhered to by implementing effective processes and procedures.
- Prepare necessary data for the budget in area of responsibility.
- Keep abreast of competitive changes including industry trends and local competitive set.
- Develop, maintain and nurture a positive work environment.
- Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality and productivity.
- Help coordinate and supervise training, assignments and development of subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
- Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
- Able to make difficult decision in a fair and honest manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage directly and indirectly all employees of the Travel Center Department. Adhere to the Tribal organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education And Experience (Must Be Documented)
- High School Diploma (or GED).
- Two (2) years (or equivalent) Supervisory/Management experience in retail, travel stop, convenience store, grocery, or department store management.
- Intermediate level in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Food Safety Certification preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills.
Certification, Licenses And Any Additional Requirements
- Must pass periodic random drug screens.
- Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
- Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

The employee is occasionally required to use upper extremities, including but not limited to, hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. They may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or push, pull up to 100 pounds. The employee is occasionally required use repetitive movements to complete tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee may be occasionally required to work in low light conditions, and may be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

- Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours.
- Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
- Must be available to work weekend and holidays.
- Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
- Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.
- Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
