Job Overview

The Wardrobe Supervisor shall supervise the daily operation of the Wardrobe Department including Wardrobe Attendants and Seamstresses ensuring that employees obtain/receive clean/dirty uniforms. Supervises the use of automated valet system to organize and distribute uniforms.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Wardrobe Attendants and Seamstresses in the Wardrobe Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the SOP’s, MICS, TICS and Expectation Guide
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Develops and monitors work schedules for Wardrobe Attendants and Seamstresses
• Orders and maintains all uniforms for property
• Works effectively with other casino support personnel to ensure team member satisfaction and service quality.
• Maintains effective communication with all casino and property personnel as required
• Ensures the physical condition of the Wardrobe Department is maintained in a safe, clean appearance
• Ensures that all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Tribal Internal and Minimum Internal Control Standards, Company Expectations and Safety Policies are adhered to at all times without deviation
• Protects all assets with Wardrobe Department
• Supervises the use of Auto Valet and computer systems to access, enter, and delete uniform / employee information
• Ensures that all Wardrobe personnel interact with employees, maintaining a professional, service oriented demeanor
• Supervises day to day direction with all responsibilities of wardrobe room to employees, receiving dry cleaning, maintaining and stocking inventory
• Supervises the inspection of uniforms for tears or areas of repair
• Ensures accurate and timely inventory counts / records
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• Associate’s Degree in Related field– required
  • OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required
  • OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department– required
  • OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– required
• Must possess competent knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  A skills test to assess the level of competent will be administered
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel programs
• Must be able to walk for the duration of the shift and at times may have to bend, stoop and kneel.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds required
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, promotions and holidays.
• Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
