PositionSummary:
Under the direction of the Slot Director, the Slot Shift Supervisor wil supervise the slot floor operations which include overseeing Slot Attendants andSlot Techs to ensurethat Tesuque PROUD Service Standards are achieved and monitored daily. Assists with training, counseling, scheduling and evaluating slot attendants'and techs' performance and effectively handle team member conflicts, guest complaints, and disputes.
Note: Native American preference will be given.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficient floor coverage and excellent customer service.
- Ensures that payouts are performed in a timely manner.
- Oversees the repair modifications and preventative maintenance on gaming machines, which are beyond the mechanical or technical scope of a Slot Host. Plans and directs work schedules and assignments for Slot Host.
- Assists with investigations of al cheating attempts, malfunctions, and sub-standard equipment within the department
- Ensures that employees provide excellent customer service and are treated with respect.
- Ensures timely and accurate performance appraisals are provided to direct reports with appropriate development plans.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in ethical manner.
- Walks the floor, ensuring anexcellent patron experience, observing slot performance and handling disputes.
- Ensures that pavouts are performed in a timelv manner.
- Documents slot transactions and other activities on a daily basis.
- Performs administrative duties such as creating correspondence, memos, email and
- telephone calls.
- Enforces and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensures the proper training and evaluation of all new and current employees.
- Compiles, generates and reviews shift reports and takes appropriate actions.
- Maintains accurate documentation in employee files on a regular basis (recognition,
- discipline, etc.).
- Ensures all reports are completed properly on a daily basis.
- Responsible for all guest service related tasks in assigned areas.
Experience and Education:
• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1year supervisor supervisor/Leadership experience
MinimumQualifications:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming License • A minimum of 1vear supervisor supervisor/Leadership experience
PhysicalRequirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty five (25) pounds
WorkEnvironment:
Worki s generally performed in an office and a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
