Position Summary:
Responsible for performing a variety of skilled and unskilled duties in one or more maintaining and repairing Isleta Lakes and maintaining grounds to Isleta standards.
Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement
All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. - Performs minor maintenance and repair work as directed.
- Performs daily duties of cleaning assignments (which include buildings, grounds, and lakes).
- Maintains routine maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles utilized.
- Inspects buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
- Repairs fences, and shelters
- Maintains road, fishing areas, and RV spaces by cutting brush, filling large holes, and removal of fallen trees, and maintains overall Lakes grounds.
- Stocks fish in the Isleta Lakes for the enjoyment of the Isleta Resort & Casino guests, in addition to removing dead fish from the Lakes.
- Maintains the maintenance shop area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Stock s frequently used supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Assures the maintenance and repair of all maintenance/grounds keeping equipment, hand tools, power tools, and supplies are safe, operational, and secure from loss or theft or environmental damage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountability and Supervision:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent, preferred.
- Six months relevant work experience preferred.
- CPR Certification preferred.
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification
- Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
- Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
- Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to practice safety in all aspects of work.
- Basic knowledge of safe operation of tools, power tools and grounds keeping equipment.
- Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills, including high integrity and respect for individuals.
- Must always possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests.
- Must be able to accept direction and feedback well.
- Must possess the ability to make sound and accurate decisions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to lift, move, pull, push, and place 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in, both, an indoor and outdoor setting. Possible expose to hazards, Blood Borne Pathogens, and unusual elements such as: dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate exposure to dangers and physical risks that may require the use of personal protective equipment (PEP) and may occasionally be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
