Position Summary

Receives and stocks food and beverage products in walk-in refrigerators, freezers or store room. Fills purchase requisitions and delivers product to the food and beverage venues, kitchens, lounges and bars.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

1. Ensures all areas are maintained and adequately stocked.
2. Ensures product is rotated properly, First In First Out (FIFO), oldest product to the front, newest to the rear.
3. Tracks orders and investigates problems.
4. Ensures correct product is received and meets requirements in regards to temperature, quality, and appearance.
5. Pulls and delivers products according to requisition requests from various venues and ensure that paperwork is processed according to policy.
6. Assists with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments; ensures accuracy of shipment against purchase order and packing slips.
7. Ensures inventory merchandise is stocked in the proper location.
8. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

7. Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
8. Knowledge of Casino requisition and invoicing procedures.
9. Knowledge of clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
10. Ability to follow instructions.
11. Ability to deal effectively with the general public and Resort & Casino staff.
12. Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations.
13. Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
14. Ability to write and prepare standard reports and documents.
15. Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation.
16. Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
17. Ability to multi-task.

Minimum Qualifications, Education And Experience

Required

1. High School Diploma or GED certification.
2. One (1) year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Licensing Status

1. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
2. Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions

1. Work is performed indoors and outdoors.  Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions. Indoor coolers and freezer temperatures vary from 0-40 degrees.
2. Ability to work a flexible scheduled including weekends and holidays.
3. Work hours are subject to change with overtime work required.
4. Subject to hazards, which may cause personal bodily harm; smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
5. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, outdoor surfaces, cement structures and surfaces.
6. Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
7. Specifically  required movements include the following:
   • Trunk - bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry
   • Arms – reach, carry, lift, twist, and rotate
   • Legs – lift, push, pull, twist, and rotate
   • Hands – Grasp, manipulate bilateral coordination, hand and eye coordination, and overall and finger dexterity.
8. Must be able to lift 75b lbs and push or pull 200 lbs. on a dolly.
